Born in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England. He has two sisters, Leigh and Gillian. His first TV appearance was as a student-turned-sea monster Gage Petronzi on Buffy the Vamire Slayer's episode called "GO FISH" in 1998.
Finally, the BIG BREAK for Went was when he obtained the starring role as MICHAEL SCOFIELD in FOX Network's TV Drama called PRISON BREAK in 2005 which earned him the 2005 GOLDEN GLOBE nomination as Best Actor in a Dramatic Series.
